In the last 20 years, Ecospray has developed one of the largest portfolios of EGCSs (Exhaust gas Cleaning Systems) in the marine sector, with more than 700 systems successfully installed on cruise, ferry and commercial vessels and with hundreds of thousands of hours of operation and proven performance in emission abatement. Our advanced air quality systems are time-tested and available both for retrofit and new building.
Ecospray is developing a range of different customized technologies to help shipowners find the right solution for decarbonization: one of these solutions is based on Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells (MCFC) and reduces costs and environmental impact, coupling carbon capture with energy production, simultaneously.
Other solutions for carbon capture through chemical adsorption – for example, carbon capture with amines or calcium hydroxide – are under development, with the goal of providing different applications based on shipowners’ needs.
Renewables
Ecospray is at the forefront in the development of solutions that afford independence of energy sources.
We are one of the few Italian players to have approached the power generation & renewable energy market, sectors whose energy sources are distributed throughout the territory.
By adopting new methods to manage resources and waste, we are responding to the demands of the energy market in the best possible way: our systems allow treatment and liquefaction of both bio and fossil fuel gas from different sources.
After a long period of research & testing, Ecospray developed an optimized liquefaction technology, with the first high-tech production plant that produces Bio-LNG from waste, a true example of a circular economy and environmental awareness.
Ecospray has now opened a very large and advanced project for biogas production from agriculture and farming waste in Europe, contributing significantly to the achievement of the EU objective “Fit For 55”.

With a range of tailor-made solutions we ensure maximum efficiency in cleaning polluting gasses from power, cement plant, steel mills and foundries, chemical, refinery and waste incineration plants, allowing our clients to be always in compliance with the most recent emission regulations.
With more than 100 systems installed worldwide, we support our clients by removing polluting emissions – SOx, NOx, PM and soot – and increasing the performance of the industrial productions with our gas treatment and cooling solution – fogging, wet compression and gas cooling.
